About my gifs

• I’m not the best at gifs, but I am constantly improving. I’d be more than happy to make a gif/photoset for you, but please remember that I can’t gif just anything. For example, recently I made a photoset of the marvelous comedian, Russell Howard, which you can see if you click here. In order to make this photoset, I had to download the video clip of that part from YouTube. I then used CS3 to make it.
  
  
• Before requesting a gif, take a quick look to see if you can find the part/scene/etc. on video, which I can then download and proceed making the gif. It makes my job a whole lot easier.
  
  
• Also please remember that gifs have a maximum file limit of 500KB. If a gif has too many frames and goes over the limit, it won’t ‘play’ on Tumblr. Therefore, often I have to compensate by reducing the image quality. If you would like a gif made of, let’s say a smile, that’s fine, because they’ll only be a few frames. If you’d like a scene done, it’d be better as a photoset, such as the Russell Howard one I mentioned earlier.
  
  
• Give me a few days after sending in your request. If it’s not done and posted within let’s say…three days, feel free to mail me to ask how it’s doing.
  
  
• I have the right to decline your request. Not that I’ve ever done that, but hey.
  
  
• None of the material I gif is mine. I often gif films/TV programs, which I don’t own the rights to, and I do not make any money from the gifs I make.
  
  
• I absolutely love getting requests. It lets me know that my work is being noticed, so please feel free to give me several requests if you like!
  
  
• Stick for request ideas? What about a moment from your favourite film, like for example one of Captain Jack Sparrow’s infamous humour or a photoset of a scene from a TV program? The possibilities are endless.
